Your First Visit to Our Lyndhurst Practice

New Lyndhurst chiropractic patients are always warmly welcomed!

We at Haley Chiropractic understand that first time patients will have plenty of questions about what to expect from care.  Keeping this in mind, we make the whole process very easy. Once you call and schedule a convenient appointment, one of our courteous staff members will take your information. We are a participating provider with many insurance companies and will verify your coverage prior to your first visit. If you like, we can fax or email the initial paperwork so you can fill it out prior to your visit.  If not, we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete our office forms.

Once they are complete, Dr. Haley will perform an initial consultation and history review. This helps us to understand your condition and provide you with a good starting point for care. After the consultation, a complete chiropractic evaluation will be performed. This evaluation will include testing that Dr. Haley feels appropriate. A regular evaluation consist of a nervous system and thermal scan using the Insight Millennium Subluxation Station.  Range of motion, muscle testing, postural analysis, orthopedic, and neurological testing will also be performed as well as X-rays, if necessary. Once all tests are done, you will be scheduled for your Report of Findings. The first visit usually takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Of note, Dr. Haley prefers to analyze all test findings and design a treatment plan specific to your needs. Usually this means that treatment will begin on the 2nd visit. The only exception is a true emergency visit that Dr. Haley feels some treatment must be rendered.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem.

New Lyndhurst chiropractic patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Robert Asks some important questions of interest to Lyndhurst residents - Chiropractor Lyndhurst Dr. Robert Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
